This team is as important as any of our positions because if nobody knows what is coming up, or knows how successful something was/is, or when members are recognized by the community, or how we influenced a positive outcome for Veterans, etc etc etc, then nothing we do matters as much.

 

Some of the work will be associated with:

• The Native American and Rural Veteran outreach program.

• Supporting Membership.

• Supporting special events. 

• Supporting the annual Department Convention. 

• Supporting awards and recognition (promoting inputs, presenting results).

• Supporting advocacy and legislative affairs. 

• Helping Chapters with their understanding and execution of outreach efforts. 

• Outreach to other VSOs.

• Outreach to local media.
