National Executive Committee (NEC) 2026-2027

The DAV (Disabled American Veterans) National Executive Committee (NEC) is the organization's governing body between national conventions, responsible for steering operations, approving budgets, and enforcing the National Constitution, Bylaws & NEC Regulations. 

Key Details and Structure:

• Composition: The NEC consists of one elected representative from each of the organization's geographical districts, the democratically elected National Commander, past national commanders, and the National Adjutant & CEO Barry A. Jesinoski. 

• Role and Function: While not national officers (because they are elected locally by members of their specific districts), NEC members serve as the vital operational liaison between their regional district and the national leadership National Officers, NEC's & Chairmen.
