DAV Department of Arizona's Native American and Rural Veteran Outreach is becoming the foundational guidance to promote opportunities for DAV Departments in other states with Native American and Rural populations to reach out and serve those Veteran Communities as well.

Overall planning will include a "blueprint" for operationalizing the work that can be modified to account for the fact that every Native American population is different, with their own sovereign governance and laws, their own traditions, and their own ways of life.

One could say that, "If you've met and learned about one Native American tribe, you know about exactly one Native American tribe."
