Oro Valley Chapter 39 Leaders receive the Veteran Servant Leader award from Congressman Juan Ciscomani
In an evening ceremony held at the La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Chapter 39 Commander Bill Jarvis and Chapter Adjutant Kevin Karvinen received the Veteran Servant Leader award from Congressman Juan Ciscomani. This is the fourth year that the Congressman has presented these awards to Veterans who continue to serve their communities after their military service had ended. Qualifications begin with having an honorable discharge, whether the Veteran served a few years or retired from the military service as a career.

Last year, Department Judge Advocate, Past Department Commander, and current National 2nd Junior Vice Commander Glenn Hohman received the VSL award from Congressman Ciscomani.
